Each ring was designed through alternating iterations of sketches, drawings, digital 3D models, and physical 3D-printed PLA prototypes.
By understanding the volume of the rings in 3D, their final weight could be estimated. After the designs were finalized, the rings were 3D-printed out of wax. Solid silver and solid bronze are then cast from individual 3D-printed wax models. Heavy and solid, the rings range from .75 oz. to 1.5 oz. of 925 silver or bronze.
